Syed Sallauddin Pasha, the dynamic force in Indian Dance Theatre, possesses an open-mindedness for both the old and new. Having started dancing at the age of six, his talent was nurtured by some of the great Gurus in Bharatanatyam. Pasha is a creator and a visionary in this art who sees unity in diversity of all artistic endeavours. Graduated as a Choreographer, he has choreographed mythological, historical, Sanskrit and contemporary dance dramas. .

He has worked as an International Scholar at Cornell University, New York, was a Residence Teacher and Artiste with Sutra Dance Theatre, Malaysia. He has also worked with Ballet Philippines, "Panggung Negara" National Theatre of Malaysia and Indonesian Institute of Performing Arts (STSI) Artists and Raatikko Dance Theatre, Finland.

He steps to conquer unfettered by anything but dance and today he is an iconoclast in his field. Pasha has performed all over India, USA, Canada, UK, Iraq, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Maldives Islands, Finland, and other countries.

Pasha has always envisioned his creativity as a total experience, one that transcends national boundaries. For pasha, theatre is the all-encompassing universal vehicle for his creative vision: it expresses life itself in the richness of all its myths and rituals.
